Jim Corbett National Park is the best tourist destination for Bengal Tiger sightings. The Park is situated on the foothills of Almora Mountain Range. The Park is a tiger reserve that shelters the Bengal Tigers, people visit to see the tiger & park from different parts of India and abroad. The geographic location is very unique and typical, located in the Nainital district of Uttarakhand state India and it is the first Tiger Reserve Park in India. Popular for having the highest number of tigers among Indian national parks. It covers hundreds of kilometers of the stunning landscape spread over 920.9 square kilometers at the height of 600 to 1100 meters in the foothills of the western Himalayas. This is the main reason why Corbett has a haunt for wildlife tourists. Despite extensive tourism, Park maintains its environment. Forest department of India officials organized safari tours in all tourism zones in the morning & afternoon (two shifts) in Dhikala Zone, Canter Safari Zone, Bijrani Zone, and Jhirna Safari Zone. Guest enjoys wildlife activities like watching wild animals, birds, beautiful flora and fauna, charms, and wildlife. Park topography is very diverse. It’s including 50 mammals, 577 birds, and at least 25 reptiles other attractions in this area are yellow-throated marten, Himalayan Black Beer, Drum, Porcupine, Jackal, Himalayan Palm Sieve, Sloth Bear, Indian Gray Mongoose, Common Otter, and Black-Napped Green. The Ramganga River, are flocks of mahseer, crocodile, and cormorant. It has around 585 species of birds. In winter come a lot of migrated birds. Greeley, Bare head, Hans, Duck, Grip, Snip, Sandpiper, Gull, and Wagtail. Local birds include Darter, Cormorants, Inmate, Herons, Black-neck storks, and Spoor-winged lapwing. Indian dragon, viper, cobra, and Crete also live in Corbett Forest. Elephant rides can be booked for wildlife. Here are the high mountains which seem very beautiful.
